Fireworks display is common in the US especially on the 4th of July. Nashville’s 4th of July festival is held annually at the downtown Riverfront Park. They say Nashville’s fireworks show is the 3rd best in the nation, after New York City and Washington, DC! I heard lots of good feedback and man.. it’s not bad! This annual event is a spectacular sight to be seen and is one of our must see and do family events of the year. So bring the whole family and celebrate Independence Day - the Nashville style!

You should go there earlier to secure a spot and the ideal spot is somewhere along the pedestrian bridge over the water. Fireworks starts at 9:00 in the evening. If you want to see the other events on that day, you can go earlier and head out to the venue (Riverfront Park) to watch artists perform live. The event starts at 12noon and here are the details:

    1. The Family Fun Zone, brought by Coca-Cola Opens
    2. The nowplayingnashville.com first stage entertainment begins at 2pm
    3. MTA’s Transit
    4. Frankie Ballard
    5. The Grascals
    6. Lee Roy Parnell - Main stage entertainment features Wynonna, The Gabe Dixon Band, Barry Scott, and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra.
    7. Fireworks begins with Nashville Symphony Orchestra
